With our building regulations having been brought into sharp focus following the events of last year, the construction industry is at a quality crossroads. All professionals owe a duty of care, not just to the client or those instructing them, but also to the end user, and it is critical that the professionals of the future deliver a standard of practice which exceeds expectations and deserves the public trust.
This two-day conference will focus on how we can deliver more than compliance in the built environment. Through presentations, open mic questions and a discussion forum, delegates will be asked to consider a response to future challenges and responsibilities within the industry in light of regulatory reform.
This year once again, we will incorporate a panel-led debate on what professional bodies and their members need to do to respond to new ways of working. In total, the programme will include over ten hours of technical content from government and industry experts.
We are expecting over 200 delegates to attend the CABE Annual Conference this year, based on the attendance of last year’s Annual Conference. Our delegates include Building Engineers, Building Surveyors, Building Maintenance Managers, Planning Officers and other industry professionals, from both the UK and overseas. This year, we predict the majority of delegates will work in Building Control, as well as other areas including Architecture, Surveying, Health & Safety, Fire and Access.
A number of CABE representatives from our regional network will also be present which, through networking, could lead to further promotional activities via the delivery of CPD events by exhibitors. To maximise delegate interaction with exhibitors we will be holding a Passport Draw, where one lucky delegate who visits each exhibitor will win a sponsored prize – a number of other sponsorship opportunities are also available to raise the profile of your brand at this event.
The exhibition will be held in spacious areas alongside and adjacent to the conference room. Refreshment breaks will be taken in these areas, so there will be plenty of opportunities throughout the two-day Annual Conference for delegates to network with exhibitors.
Exhibitor representatives are welcome to take advantage of the CPD seminars running throughout the Conference to gain valuable CPD hours, and may also join delegates at the Annual Conference and Awards dinner.
Please note: Limited number of spaces available. Book today to avoid missing this exciting opportunity to showcase your products and services.
