The Business Sprinkler Alliance (BSA) was established in 2010 and is an alliance of fire safety professionals working to protect UK plc against fire. The BSA aims to highlight the true cost of fire and increase the number of business premises that have automatic fire sprinklers fitted. Local Authority Building Control (LABC) represents all local authority building control teams in England and Wales. Our members work co-operatively with building owners, homeowners, architects, plan drawers, developers, building contractors and other professionals to ensure buildings are safe, healthy and efficient, meeting the standards set by the building regulations.

Residential Property Surveyors Association (RPSA)

The Residential Property Surveyors Association (RPSA) is a not-for-profit professional body representing the interests of specialist residential surveyors. Members of RPSA pride themselves on delivering high-quality survey products in plain English and offering excellent client service.
RPSA operates a panel for its members through which survey instructions are directed across England and Wales, and the Panel is expanding both in terms of volume and product range. The two new products added to the product range in 2018 are Building Surveys and Buy to Let surveys, the latter of which is unique in the market place. In 2019, these products will be supplemented by a new Snagging survey for new and recently built properties.
RPSA holds CPD events for its members, including an Annual Conference and dinner, and provides a range of support services for those newly entering the profession. The Association has an active members’ forum for discussing technical issues and also publishes ‘The Residential Surveyor’, a specialist journal for residential surveyors.
