This CPD seminar, provided by Sandland Taylor Consultancy and presented by Simon Sandland-Taylor, challenges the assumptions made in traditional building codes (including Approved Document B) in relation to Human Behaviour in Fire.

It highlights how safer building design can be informed by an evidence based approach to Human Behaviour, developed by analysis of behaviour in major fires, research and experiments.

The paper also identifies other key factors (in addition to building design) that influence Human Behaviour in Fire and concludes with presentation of a dynamic Behavioural Model.
