BS9999 2017 has now been published and designers, premises managers, and building control professionals will need to be aware of some of the changes to the approach in the design and management of buildings.
The revised standard builds upon the concept of developing a risk profile based on the people and content of a building and has radically changed the consideration of on-going management at design stage. Updated guidance and additional information is included in the standard with greater detail in relation to the approach for atria.
One of the key changes is to remove from the standard the guidance relating to dwellings which now finds a home in BS 9991 2015.
All of these aspects will be covered in a CABE training course on 24 January in Northampton. If you want to make sure your knowledge is up-to-date, then book your place today!
